Introduction:
SmithtownRadio.com is dedicated to helping and serving the community. For the seventh straight year, SmithtownRadio.com will be conducting its annual Relay for Life radio-a-thon to support the American Cancer Society.
Starting at 6p on Saturday, June 9, SmithtownRadio.com will be broadcasting live from the Relay for Life of Smithtown at Smithtown High School West.
SmithtownRadio.com’s James Brierton will report live from the track and field during the 12-hour event where cancer survivors are honored.
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event that is geared towards community involvement in the fight against cancer. Each year more than 3.5 million people raise more than $450 million worldwide. It is the single largest non-profit donor of life-saving cancer research in the world.
Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer one way or another. No donation is too small and we invite our listeners to join in the fight by donating. Funds donated via this link will count towards the events overall total.
Our special coverage of the Relay for Life continues… and we invite you to learn more at about the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
