Tim Pounds

SmithtownRadio.com's Morning Show Host Tim Pounds
Master of the mud himself, Tim Pounds can be heard each morning on SmithtownRadio.com from 8 to 11 am as the host of the Sim and Tam morning show.
Native of a small Georgian town, Pounds, aka Tam, has become a master of off-road driving and can often be found mudding through the woods of Augusta, Georgia in his pick-up truck (just listen for the customized public address system blaring from his truck).
Pounds’ musical knowledge and quick thinking helps round out SmithtownRadio.com’s morning show.
Pounds can also be heard as a show producer on WUOG 90.5fm at the University of Georgia, where he is currently a music education student. His own musical experiences include playing trombone in the UGA School of Music and in the Redcoat Marching Band. Pounds is also the bass player with the local Athens/Augusta, Georgia band, The Pluto Generation. His iTunes library ranges from the early roots of jazz to the modern day heavy metal. From John Coltrane to Bo Diddley to The Beatles to The Who to Metallica to System of a Down, everything and anything is possible in the library of Tim “lbs.”
Pounds also co-hosts the Revolution 9 Beatles Hour with Megan Russ and Trevor Higgins from 11am to Noon Monday through Saturday.
