SmithtownRadio.com's Show Host Tim Pounds

Master of the mud himself, Tim Pounds can be heard daily on SmithtownRadio.com from 11am to Noon as the host of the “Revolution 9.”

*E-mail Tim Pounds

Native of a small Georgian town, Pounds has become a master of off-road driving and can often be found mudding through the woods of Augusta, Georgia in his pick-up truck (just listen for the customized public address system blaring from his truck).

Pounds’ musical knowledge and quick thinking helps makes him a vital part of the SmithtownRadio.com team.

From February to September 2010, Pounds also co-hosted the “Sim and Tam Morning Show” with Sam Lemley.

Pounds’ current show flashes listeners back to the great hits of the last three decades.

Pounds is a music education student at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. His own musical experiences include playing trombone in the UGA School of Music and in the Redcoat Marching Band.  Pounds is also the bass player with the local Athens/Augusta, Georgia band “Clean Break.”

His iTunes library ranges from the early roots of jazz to the modern day heavy metal.  From John Coltrane to Bo Diddley to The Beatles to The Who to Metallica to System of a Down, everything and anything is possible in the library of Tim “lbs.”
