SmithtownRadio.com's Senior Political Contributor Amanda Boitano
As an original co-host of SmithtownRadio.com, this original SmithtownRadio.com-er continues to contribute to the station through its Washington, D.C. bureau.
Boitano currently attends William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia studying linguistics and government.
In 2005, Boitano joined the first phase of SmithtownRadio.com before a short-term leave. She returned to the network two years later as co-host of the weekly variety show SmithtownRadio.com Live, where she also served as a political contributor to the station.
Boitano was a prolific contributor to the station’s extended coverage of the presidential election of 2008. She was on-the-air live from outside the presidential debate at Long Island’s Hofstra University in October of 2008, was first to announce the election results during the station’s live Election Night coverage and co-hosted the station’s live coverage and interactive town hall meeting on Inauguration Day in January of 2010.
