History:
The station was originally created by James Brierton and Steven Greco in 2003. After a short stint as an experimental station for Great Hollow Middle School in 2004, the station finalized a partnership with the Smithtown Central School District to create the official radio station for Smithtown High School East in 2005. The station was rebranded “SmithtownRadio.com” and acquired new staff. In 2010, the partnership with the school districted ended.
