SPCA now has the 3-foot creature

Nesconset, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – A three-foot long American alligator discovered near Lake Ronkonkoma Saturday is now in the hands of the Suffolk County chapter of the SPCA.

The creature was found in the Lily Pond County Park in Nesconset and is the seventh found on Long Island this month.

The SPCA is asking anyone with information about the animal to call 631-382-SPCA.
