Used stolen card at three area stores
Nesconset, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Suffolk police have released images of a couple wanted for using a credit card stolen from a vehicle parked outside a Nesconset home.
Surveillance photos released Friday show the man and woman wanted for stealing a wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Robin Hood Court in Nesconset on September 7. A Visa credit card taken from the wallet was used used to make purchases the following day at Old Navy in Lake Grove, a Gulf gas station in Nesconset and the Wal-Mart in East Setauket, according to police.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000.00 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
