St. James, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Colleagues are credited with saving their coworkers life by performing CPR while awaiting the arrival of emergency personnel.

Michael Mulhausen’s co-workers performed CPR on the 50-year-old after he passed out in the service area of Nardy Honda last week, Suffolk police say in information released Thursday. Responding Fourth Precinct Police Officer Bryan Boudreaux was able to regain Mulhausen’s pulse after twice shocking him with an Automatic Defibrillator and inserting a airway device into Mulhausen’s throat.

Personnel from the Nesconset Fire Department transported Mulhausen to Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he is expected to
fully recover.
