Mastic, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Suffolk County Police Department arrested two men that burglarized half a dozen homes in the past three months in the Mastic and Shirley area.

Several homes in Mastic and Shirley were burglarized between May and August.  Investigations by Seventh Squad detectives, with assistance from Seventh Precinct Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE) officers, revealed that John Trent and Dontrae Glasco were responsible for six of the residential burglaries.

Trent, 20, of Shirley, was charged with five counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree.  Glasco, 18, of Mastic, was charged with five counts of Burglary 2nd Degree.

Trent and Glasco are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 12.
