Cops: Speed may have been a factor in crash

Ronkonkoma, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a motorcycle crash that seriously injured a Ronkonkoma man Friday night.

Jared Schraner, 26, was driving west on Express Drive North in Ronkonkoma when he apparently lost control of his 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle hit a curb and crashed at 11:30 p.m.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
