Evening News Update

Good evening. I’m James Brierton. Here’s the latest from the SmithtownRadio.com newsroom.

AMC Movie Theaters has announced those attending showings of Batman will not be allowed to wear masks or other customs considered threatening. The announcement comes after a shooting at a theater in Colorado killed 12 and wounded dozen others. In their statement, AMC security is being heighten at all of its theaters nationwide – including the location on Route 347 in Stony Brook. Suffolk County police will also be patrolling area theaters.

In other news, tonight’s Musical Moments in Kings Park summer concert series has been re-located because of rain. The performance by All Good Friends with Lenny Scotto will be held at RJO Intermediate School on Church Street.
