No one was injured yesterday after a Commack home apparently caught fire after being struck by lightning. Suffolk police say the Commack Fire Department was called to the Johnson Street home around 7:20 p.m. Firefighters got the blaze under control in about half an hour.

Staying in Commack, a four car pile underneath the Northern State Parkway Saturday sent two to the hospital and shutdown Commack Road for hours. Photos show one of the cars on top of another. The cause of the crash was not immediately available. We have pictures for you on SmithtownRadio.com.
