Kings Park, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Investigators have released new surveillance images of a man wanted for stealing nearly $100 worth of merchandise from a Kings Park liquor store in May.

On May 13, an unidentified male entered Main Street Liquors, located at 88 West Main Street, and walked to the rear of the store and took a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne, police say. The man then placed the champagne, valued at $99.98, in to his pants. The suspect left the store without paying for the champagne and he fled in a maroon or other dark-colored four door sedan.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’10” tall with a muscular build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
