In your forecast: Fairly cool today with sunny skies and a high of 87. We drop down to 70 tonight before the heat comes back with vengeance tomorrow and the heat feeling like the triple digits tomorrow. Then a chance of a spotty storm into sunday.

It’ll be a nice night for the Kings Park Civic Assoication and Chamber of Commerce’s Musical Moments concert tonight. The free show starts at 7:30.

At the request of local community organizations, the air quality in Kings Park is going to be studied by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Kings Park Notebook reports the year-long testing is scheduled to begin later this month. The DEC will look for for possible air toxicants.
