Report: DEC to monitor Kings Park air quality

Kings Park, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – At the request of local community organizations, the air quality in Kings Park is going to be studied by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, according to a report by Kings Park Notebook.
The year-long testing is scheduled to begin later this month, the report says. The DEC will look for for possible air toxicants.

The Kings Park Civic Association, Commack Community Association and the San Remo Civic Association, made the request.
