West Islip, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – A Mastic woman has been arrested for for stealing money from church outreach programs in the Towns of Brookhaven and Islip since last month.
An investigation by Third Precinct Crime Section officers determined that Nicole Annuziato went to three separate church outreach programs located in West Islip, East Islip and Rocky Point and claimed she needed money for rent. She said she was a resident within each church’s parish and doctored phony lease agreements. Annuziato stole a total of $1500.
Annuziato, 30, of Mastic, was charged with three counts of Petit Larceny and one count of Scheme to Defraud 2nd Degree.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call Third Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8326.
