Wyandanch, NY (SmithtownnRadio.com) – Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Wyandanch Wednesday morning.

The male driver of a 2005 Honda was traveling northbound on Little East Neck Road when he struck a 2001 Mitsubishi box truck at the intersection of Patton Avenue, police say.  The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The driver of the box truck, Michael Garcia, 21, of West Babylon was not injured.

The driver of the motorcycle has not been identified.  He is described as Hispanic and in his late 20s or early 30s.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
