Updates include psych center demolition, industrial development

Kings Park, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Residents will be updated on demolition at the former Kings Park Psych Center along with the talk of developing new industrial zones in Kings Park at a meeting of the Kings Park Civic Association Tuesday.

The guest speaker at the meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the community room of Kings Park High School, will be Smithtown Library Director Robert Lusak. Lusak will discuss the renovation and expansion of the Kings Park Library branch.

This Friday the group will kick off its summer concert series, presented jointly with the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce. The free shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on the plaza next to Ralph’s Italian Ice on East Main Street. Gary Pumilia’s Acoustic Six, seen here at the St. Joseph’s Church family picnic, will be performing.
