Amityville, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Police have been an arrest following an argument over a parking spot that escalated into a shooting in Amityville Friday.

William Brown, 28, was arrested for shooting at a man he allegedly argued with over a parking spot, police say. The confrontation began Friday in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts, located at 355 Broadway.

After the argument, the two men drove off in their own vehicles when Brown is said to have shot at the other vehicle.

Brown has been charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
