Miami Heat even up the NBA Finals with a 100-96 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. A strong first half from the Heat was enough to overcome yet another comeback attempt from the Thunder who outscored Miami by 11 points in the second half. Lebron James had 32 points and 8 rebounds and his point total was matched by Kevin Durant. The series shifts to Miami for Game 3 on Sunday night. Tip off will be at 8 on ABC.

Two homers from Kirk Nieuwenhuis power the Mets to a 9-6 win and mid week sweep against the Tampa Bay Rays. His offensive effort made up for a sub-par day on the mound for Johan Santana who  gave up four runs in five innings. They are now off to Cincinnati for a weekend series with the Reds that will be the only non-interleague series of the weekend. David Gee and Bronson Arroyo is the pitching matchup tonight at 7:10 on SNY. Tomorrows game is at 7:15 on FOX and the series wraps up at 1:10 on Sunday.

Yankees open a series in Washington with the Nationals tonight at 7:05 on YES. Phil Hughes get the start on the mound for the Yankees and he will be going up against NL-Cy Young candidate Gio Gonzalez. Tomorrows game begins at 1:05 on YES and Sunday’s game will be broadcast on TBS at 1:35.
