Four-year-old fell into pool on Mt. Pleasant Road 

Hauppauge, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – A four-year-old boy has died after falling into a Hauppauge home swimming pool Tuesday, Newsday reports.

Shane Brennan was at a home on Mount Pleasant Road when he fell into the pool. He was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center in critical condition.

A family friend and unnamed official informed the newspaper of the child’s death.

Last week, Smithtown GTV, the town’s government-run public access channel, released a pool safety video ahead of the summer season.
