Check it out! Not sure how he managed to get that perfect location but this guy managed to spot (literally) Venus in the palm of his hand during the planet’s transit Tuesday.

The Venus Transit is when the planet passes directly between Earth and the Sun, showing a very small “pimple” on the sun’s surface when viewed. Observers on the East coast were able to spot the transit with proper eye protection Tuesday, a rare event that won’t be occur again until December 2117.
