Park View, Fort Salonga and RJO to get technology upgrades

Kings Park, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) - The Kings Park school district is set to spend a combined $175,000 on new technology throughout the district and on a new press box at the high school.

Half of the funds will be used to purchase new computer labs for Park View, Fort Salonga and RJO Intermediate schools. Some funds may be put towards the purchase of Smart Boards and digital projectors for secondary schools.

The high school will also be receiving a new press box, which will be large enough for coaches from both the home and away teams along with camera crews.

The district credits New York Stat Senator John Flanagan for helping secure some of the funds.
