West Babylon, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Suffolk County Police arrested a West Babylon pizzeria owner for selling illegal prescription pills out of his restaurant.

After a three month investigation into the illegal sale of prescription drugs at Miceli Brothers Pizzeria and Restaurant, detectives and police officers executed a search warrant at the restaurant Tuesday evening. The restaurant’s owner, Francesco Miceli, was taken into custody.

Miceli, who on numerous occasions sold quantities of illegal Oxycodone hydrochloride pills to an undercover police agent, was charged with seven counts: Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony; one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a class B Felony; and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, a class C Felony.

Miceli, 50, of Rockville Centre, is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on May 16.
