Morning Edition:

Former Lost star Matthew Fox was arrested last Friday for driving under the influence. Fox has one passenger in the car with him when he was arrested at almost 3:30 a.m. The actor was on his way to a fast food restaurant while driving in Oregon, where he currently lives. He was taken into custody and released later that day. This isn’t his first run-in with the law. A Cleveland bus driver accused Fox of assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress last September. A rep for the actor had no comment.

John Travolta has been slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly inflicting sexual battery on a male masseur. His accuser, who is remaining anonymous, is suing for $2 million. He claims that their session ended with Travolta stripping naked, rubbing the man’s leg and touching his privates. Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer, says that the complaint is false and malicious. He says he can prove that Travolta wasn’t even in Los Angeles at the time of the alleged incident. Singer also said he plans on suing the masseur and his lawyer for malicious prosecution.

Evening Edition:

NBC announced that the network has ordered two new shows, one from Glee creator Ryan Murphy and one from Alias and Lost creator J.J. Abrams. Murphy’s show, The New Normal, is a series about the blended family of a gay couple and a surrogate mother. It stars Andrew Rannells of Book of Mormon, Justin Bartha of The Hangover, Ellen Barkin and Georgia King. Abrams’ new series, Revolution, takes place in a world where all energy sources have mysteriously disappeared. His show stars David Lyons of The Cape, Billy Burke of Twilight, and Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad. NBC will announce its full lineup next week during its upfront presentation.

TNT’s Leverage has tapped Scream and Scooby-Doo star Matthew Lillard for a guest spot next season. The actor will play Gabe Erickson, a corrupt businessman who has successfully evaded jail until Nate and the rest of the team get him. Leverage’s fifth season premieres this summer on Sunday, July 15th. The air date for Lillard’s episode has not been named yet.
