After reports were released saying Sacha Baron Cohen was banned from this year’s Oscars, an Academy spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter “We haven’t banned him. The Academy spokesperson said, “We don’t think it’s appropriate. But his tickets have not been pulled. We’re waiting to hear back.”
