Central Islip, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – A police manhunt led to the arrested two Central Islip men after they burglarized a Central Islip home Thursday morning.

A resident of a Wilson Boulvard home heard a loud bang at the front door at approximately 10:35 a.m, police say. When he went to see what the noise was, he was confronted by two men who forced their way into the home. The resident yelled at the suspects and they fled on foot.

Police responded and during a search of the area found one of the suspects, Emilio Liberato. Suffolk County Police Helicopter Four responded and located the second suspect, Anthony Williams.

Liberato and Williams, both 31, were charged with Burglary 2nd Degree. They will be held overnight at the Third Precinct for arraignment tomorrow at First District Court in Central Islip.
