Committee eyes closure of Nesconset Elementary School to save dough
Nesconset, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Nesconet Elementary School could be shut at the end of this year.
The school is amongst several being considered as a part of a cost cutting plan first introduced last year. Smithtown Central School District Director of Curriculum Jennifer Bradshaw chairs a committee charged with deciding which school to close. And in a Newsday report out today, Bradsaw says the commitee curently favors closing the Nesconset school.
