Northport, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – Crime Stoppers and the State of New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the unknown person who robbed and sexually abused a 16-year-old male at the Long Island Rail Road station located in Northport.
On Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at approximately 2:00 PM, the subject followed the youth into the bathroom in the main waiting room at the Northport railroad station and locked the door from the inside. The suspect then forced sexual contact on the victim and forcibly took his money.
The subject is described as a black male, 25 to 40 years of age with brown eyes. He is about 5’10” to 6’ tall and 250 to 300 lbs., with a large round stomach and thin legs. He either had short hair or was bald and wore a black do-rag on his head. His face is round and he has a double chin and a mole under one eye. He was unshaven and had a goatee and there were words tattooed on the left side of his neck.
