Good morning! Time to Hammer Out The Weather!
A large rainstorm makes a mess of things to end our week. Then after some more wet weather Sunday and Monday, next looks to be rather dry and a touch milder with highs in the mid 40′s.
Grab your rain coat and boots and think about whether you want to use that umbrella or not. It’s going to be a very windy day and rainy morning with wind gusts to around 40mph. That being said, if your coat has a hood, it might be your best bet to just use that. Umbrellas will be breaking all day long because of that wind!
Rain will come down heavy at times. Temperatures this morning will be in the upper 30′s to low 40′s.
Soaking rains continue and we’ll probably even have some strong thunderstorms roll through. Visibility will be significantly reduced in any thunderstorms.
Winds will still be cranking to near 40mph gusts as well. At least this isn’t a really cold rain. Highs this afternoon will be hitting 50 degrees.
We’ll still have the rain around this evening, but as we get past dinnertime and into tonight, the rain will begin to let up.
The wind sticks around all through tonight, but we’ll just be down to a few showers by 10pm or so.
I wouldn’t be surprised if total rainfall accumulations reach the two inch mark!
Saturday will be a day of drying out with partly sunny skies and temperatures around 40. It will still be breezy, but the wind will die down considerably.
Cloudy with lows in the mid-20′s.
Expect some rain, snow or sleet showers for Sunday. Right now it’s still a close call, but by tomorrow I’ll have a better handle on precipitation type for Sunday. It’s important to note, this will not be a big storm. Regardless of what falls, it will be relatively light.
Monday we start off partly sunny, but then the weather takes a big turn for the worse again. Another big rainstorm looks to hit Monday afternoon through early Tuesday morning.
Have a great day and do your best to stay dry!
